Mumbai The official trailer for ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ (Dhurandhar 2) dropped today, giving fans their first full look at the next chapter of Aditya Dhar’s expanding spy thriller universe.
Running 3 minutes 25 seconds, the trailer hints at a darker, more intense mission for undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, reprised by Ranveer Singh, who now operates in the criminal underworld under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. Following the death of gangster Rehman Dakait (played by Akshaye Khanna in the first film), Hamza rises to power in Lyari, Karachi, earning the title “Lyari ka Badshah.”
The sequel shifts from personal infiltration to a larger national security threat, with Hamza maneuvering through a terror syndicate to dismantle it from within. Major Iqbal, played by Arjun Rampal, emerges as a central target. The trailer also features Sanjay Dutt as tough officer SP Chaudhary Aslam and R. Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal.
Action-packed sequences, including shootouts, covert meetings, and urban warfare, dominate the trailer, set to a remixed version of ‘Ari Ari’ by Bombay Rockers, adding a high-octane energy. The teaser ends with Ranveer Singh delivering a chilling line: “Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil, Hindustan tey karega.”
Fans flooded social media with excitement. Comments included: “This is going to be HUGE” and “SOLD, FIRST DAY FIRST SHOW.”
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ hits theaters worldwide on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The first ‘Dhurandhar’ became the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, surpassing ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, and has since achieved cult status.
