For the T20 World Cup 2026, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has increased the prize money by 20%. In the 2024 T20 World Cup, the ICC distributed a total of USD 11.25 million in prize money. This time, it has been raised to USD 13.5 million (approximately ₹123.77 crore). In the previous edition, the winning team, India, received USD 2.45 million, while the runners-up, South Africa, earned USD 1.28 million.
