Tehran : The ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has now entered its 17th day. The United States and Israel likely did not expect the war to last this long. Iran has suffered significant damage during the conflict, but it continues to resist strongly and has carried out attacks against Israel as well as several American allies in the Middle East.
Iran has also made it clear that it will not back down and is prepared to continue fighting the war for as long as necessary. Meanwhile, Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has now put forward a major demand.
Demand for Compensation
Mojtaba Khamenei has demanded compensation from what he called enemy countries, referring to the United States and Israel. In a post shared on his Telegram account, he said that the two nations should pay for the damage Iran has suffered because of the war.
Warning to the US and Israel
Along with demanding compensation, Mojtaba also issued a strong warning. In the same post, he stated that if his demand is not met, Iran could seize assets belonging to the United States and Israel equivalent to the losses it has suffered.
He further added that if seizing such assets is not possible, Iran would destroy an equal value of enemy property to match the damage caused to the country during the conflict.
