Ayodhya : President Droupadi Murmu Visits Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on First Day of Navratri; Installs Shri Ram Yantra in Ram Darbar, Later to Visit Mathura
Ayodhya: President Droupadi Murmu arrived at the Ram Mandir, Ayodhya on the first day of Navratri, where she offered prayers at the Ram Lalla shrine. She also installed a Shri Ram Yantra in the Ram Darbar located on the second floor of the temple and reviewed the entire temple complex.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath briefed the President on the ongoing construction and development work related to the temple. The President arrived at Ayodhya airport from Delhi around 10:30 am, where she was received by Governor Anandiben Patel and the Chief Minister.
This marks President Murmu’s second visit to Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla. Earlier, on May 1, 2024, she had visited the city and offered prayers at both Hanumangarhi and the Ram Mandir.
The President will stay in Ayodhya for nearly five hours before departing at around 3 pm for Mathura. In Mathura, she is scheduled to visit the ISKCON Temple, Vrindavan and the Prem Mandir, Vrindavan. On Friday, March 20, she is expected to meet Premanand Maharaj.
