New Delhi : During his visit to New Delhi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a series of significant meetings aimed at accelerating the state’s development. He paid a courtesy visit to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, where both leaders discussed Rajasthan’s development priorities and emphasised effective implementation of central and state government schemes.
The Chief Minister also met Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to deliberate on energy and urban planning issues. He highlighted the vision of “Developed Rajasthan–2047,” stressing the expansion of green energy and the strengthening of infrastructure. He also raised the demand to connect Rajasthan with the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), which is expected to give a fresh push to the state’s growth.
In another key meeting, Bhajanlal Sharma met Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu to discuss major aviation projects. Talks included the construction of a new state terminal building at Jaipur Airport and the possibility of developing a new airport in Bharatpur-Deeg. He also proposed developing airports in Sikar and Jhunjhunu, and stressed maintaining consistent flight services to major tourist destinations.
The Chief Minister further requested enhanced air connectivity for Manpur (Abu Road) and expansion of air services in Banswara. These initiatives are expected to significantly boost aviation infrastructure, tourism, and overall development in Rajasthan, giving a new momentum to the state’s growth trajectory.
