Mumbai : The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced Team India’s international home schedule for the 2026–27 season, featuring a total of 22 matches—9 ODIs, 5 Tests, and 8 T20Is—across 17 cities.
Four teams—West Indies cricket team, Sri Lanka cricket team, Zimbabwe cricket team, and Australia cricket team—will tour India during the season, which begins in September 2026.
The season will kick off on September 27, 2026, with West Indies’ tour of India, featuring three ODIs and five T20Is. The ODI matches will be played in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh, while the T20Is will be held in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
In December 2026, Sri Lanka will tour India for a limited-overs series comprising three ODIs and three T20Is.
At the start of 2027, Zimbabwe will visit India in January for a three-match ODI series, with games scheduled in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
The highlight of the season will be the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, as Australia tours India for a five-Test series starting January 21, 2027, in Nagpur. The remaining Tests will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad.
