On Sunday, Araghchi welcomed efforts aimed at ending the war, saying Tehran is open to any initiative that seeks to stop the conflict. He also ruled out targeting civilians or residential areas in neighboring Arab countries and suggested that Israel might be behind attacks in those nations.
