Jaipur, 18 March: On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, residents of the state are set to receive a major boost in public transport facilities. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will flag off a fleet of newly inducted buses of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) on Thursday (19 March) at the Ajmer Road bus terminal.
As part of the celebrations, a total of 207 new buses will be added to the Roadways fleet. These include 100 Blue Line Express buses, 79 Starline buses, and 28 air-conditioned vehicles, all introduced under the service line initiative.
The addition of these buses is expected to make travel more accessible, comfortable, and modern for the general public.
The state government has emphasised its commitment to ensuring that essential services reach every section of society. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, continuous efforts are being made to expand safe, well-organised, and modern transport facilities across Rajasthan.
With the induction of these new buses, public transport in the state is set to become more robust, offering improved connectivity and convenience to passengers.
