New Delhi : India’s full-strength squad will tour Ireland in June 2026 for a two-match T20 International series, with the BCCI announcing the schedule on Saturday.
The series will be India’s first T20 assignment after their World Cup triumph, where they defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in Ahmedabad on 8 March to clinch the title.
This will be India’s fourth tour of Ireland in the last eight years, following previous visits in 2018, 2022 and 2023. Ireland, meanwhile, has a packed 2026 calendar, which also includes a one-off Test against New Zealand and a five-match ODI series against Afghanistan.
India has dominated Ireland in T20 cricket so far, winning all three previous bilateral series between the two sides. They secured 2-0 clean sweeps in both 2018 and 2022, and also won the 2023 series 2-0, with one match abandoned. All these series were played in Ireland.
After the IPL, India will also host Afghanistan in June. The series will begin with a one-off Test from 6 June, followed by three ODIs scheduled for 14 June in Dharamshala, 17 June in Lucknow and 20 June in Chennai.
Later in the year, India will tour England for a white-ball series, where the teams will play five T20s and three ODIs in July.
