Jaipur : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, congratulating him on completing 12 years in office and praising his leadership for driving welfare-oriented governance, national development, and cultural resurgence.
On behalf of the people of Rajasthan, Sharma extended his greetings to the Prime Minister and described Modi’s public life as a symbol of service, public welfare, and unwavering commitment to the nation.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life has been dedicated to service, public welfare, and nation-building. Initiatives focused on farmer welfare, women empowerment, youth development, and the preservation of India’s cultural heritage have instilled the spirit of ‘Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai’ among 1.4 billion Indians,” the Chief Minister wrote.
Rajasthan Benefited from Several Landmark Projects
In his letter, Sharma highlighted several major infrastructure and development projects that were launched or accelerated under the Modi government’s leadership in Rajasthan.
These include:
- Ram Jal Setu Link Project
- Yamuna Water Agreement
- Jaipur Metro Phase-II Project
- Mahi-Banswara Nuclear Power Project
- Expansion of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
The Chief Minister said these projects have significantly contributed to Rajasthan’s economic growth and infrastructure development.
He also noted that the long-awaited refinery project is set to usher in a new era of industrial and economic progress in the state.
“The industrial zones being developed under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor have helped establish Rajasthan as one of India’s leading industrial destinations,” Sharma stated.
Several National Schemes Launched from Rajasthan
The Chief Minister emphasized that many flagship initiatives of the Modi government were launched from Rajasthan over the past 12 years.
According to the letter:
- The nationwide expansion of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign was launched from Jhunjhunu.
- The Poshan Abhiyaan was inaugurated in Rajasthan.
- The HPV Vaccination Campaign for cervical cancer prevention was launched by Prime Minister Modi from Ajmer.
Sharma said these initiatives reflect the Prime Minister’s confidence in Rajasthan and demonstrate the state’s growing role in India’s development journey.
He added that under Modi’s guidance, Rajasthan is moving rapidly toward the vision of “Viksit Rajasthan 2047”.
CM Mentions Operation Sindoor
The Chief Minister also referred to Operation Sindoor, describing it as a reflection of India’s evolving security doctrine under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
He wrote that the operation showcased the country’s commitment to self-reliance in defense and national security.
Sharma praised the contribution of Rajasthan’s soldiers, stating that they displayed exceptional courage, valor, and patriotism during the operation, enhancing the nation’s pride.
India Moving Towards the Vision of ‘Vishwa Guru’
Highlighting India’s growing global stature, Sharma said the country is progressing toward realizing the vision of becoming a “Vishwa Guru” (global leader) under Modi’s leadership.
He noted that India has emerged as a proponent of world peace, sustainable development, and democratic values on the international stage.
The Chief Minister also credited the Prime Minister for leading a cultural renaissance through projects such as:
- The Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya
- The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor
- Mahakal Lok in Ujjain
- The Somnath Heritage Development Initiative
According to Sharma, these projects have strengthened India’s cultural identity while blending heritage with modern development.
The letter concludes with a message of appreciation for Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and expresses confidence that India will continue its journey toward becoming a developed nation by 2047.
